Reverse Osmosis & Purification

Solutions For Pure, Safe Drinking Water

Reverse Osmosis (RO) purification systems are very effective at greatly reducing harmful contaminants that may be found in water, including heavy metals (lead, arsenic), fluoride, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals. In addition, these systems remove dissolved solids, salts, and chemicals like chlorine, giving the water a better taste, and improving coffee, tea, and cooking.

RO Systems also eliminate the need and expense of bottled water or water delivery services. A reverse osmosis system is often a far more cost-efficient option, providing a limitless supply of pure water, and is simple to maintain.

How RO Systems Purify Water

Since water is an excellent solvent, it can dissolve a wide variety of other substances it may come into contact with. This happens naturally as it travels through the environment such as the ground, air or as part of lakes, rivers and streams. Beyond this, human activity and associated pollution can also add to this mix of impurities.

Reverse osmosis systems purify water by pushing water through a semi-permeable membrane using pressure. The tiny pores in the membrane are small enough to let water through, but too small for larger molecules and compounds. These compounds are blocked by the membrane and flushed away.
